The group made the trip to honor fallen brothers Edward Keen and Ronald Reed, whose names were among the 168 memorialized forever. Members of the Keen and Reed family accompanied the band and honor guard for this momentous event. The process was overwhelming at times, but to see the professionalism our P&D members displayed to our union brothers and sisters and their families made it all worth it. Members from the IAFF greeted us at the airport, eager to help with luggage and ground transportation. The days before the event were filled with meetings and long practices. IAFF General President Harold Schaitberger delivered the welcome address to the nearly 400 pipes and drums members and hundreds of honor guard members. After the ceremony. the handshakes, warm embraces and “thank you for what you do” statements from famil 䁵
