Devon & Somerset Fire & Rescue Service Devon & Somerset Fire & Rescue Service has chosen the Flir K55 Thermal Image Camera for their Operational Requirements: Terberg DTS Fire & Rescue are delighted that the Devon & Somerset Fire & Rescue Service has selected Terberg DTS to supply Flir K55 Thermal Imaging Cameras. The FLIR K55 was selected following a procurement exercise, which included extensive trials undertaken by Devon & Somerset Fire & Rescue Services personnel in the Research and Development Department, Training Academy and operational Stations. Terberg DTS proved the highest scoring contractor from the evaluation, which took into consideration cost, functionality, ancillaries, warranty and delivery. The Contract to supply has been awarded for up to five years. The Flir K55 multifunction camera offers a number of different functions, which, combined with features that include crystal-clear thermal imaging, market leading 4 inch display screen, 600 minutes video recording time capability, ease of downloading and rugged reliability, enable Devon & Somerset Fire and Rescue Service to provide their fire fighters with a top of the range Thermal Imaging Camera. As well as the supply of this top of the range thermal imaging technology, this agreement further builds the relationship between Devon & Somerset Fire & Rescue Service and Terberg DTS. 11
