Technique tips
1. Position the ball in the Middle of Your Stance, Make Sure The club shaft
is in a vertical position at address.
Many amateurs lean the shaft forward which de-lofts the wedge ,
creating a lower flight with less spin and more run.
2. Make sure you accelerate through impact as you try to return the
shaft back to a vertical position as you strike the ball to get used to this
action try these two drills
Practice Drill
1. Make a circle with some tees on the ground, you can score how
many land in the circle and try to improve each time to make your
practice more competitive.
2 . The one hand drill encourages you to release the club through impact
and help the club maintain its loft, which will give the ball more height
and a softer landing. When first trying this drill make sure there is sufficient
grass under the ball and progress to tighter lies as you improve.
