Lead the change with the Blue Light Programme
The Blue Light Programme focuses on raising awareness, tackling stigma and delivering training, and is
dedicated to supporting emergency service staff and volunteers in England with practical ways to stay
mentally well:
• Access the Blue Light

health or wellbeing? Call, email
or text our Blue Light Infoline;

• Commit to the Blue Light
Time to Change pledge:
sign the pledge and join a growing
movement of employers across
different sectors in England who
are working to tackle mental
health stigma and help keep their
staff well for work.
• Access information: Our
series of information booklets
are designed to support staff and
volunteers from the emergency
services with their mental health.
You can read them online or order
printed copies for free as part of
our info pack.
• Attend a
masterclass:
designed for linemanagers and leaders,
spend just half a day
at one of our free
masterclasses on mental
health being delivered by
20 local Minds around
England.
• Learn about
mental health
online with our
series of webinar
films on mental health
awareness, mental
health at work and
looking after your mental
health.
• Champion better
mental health: we’re
looking for individuals who
can champion better mental
health in their workplace by
running events, giving out
information and encouraging
others to talk. We’re also
looking for support from
those who have experienced
mental health problems and
who are willing to share their
stories to help promote the
programme.
• Join our peer
network: a place for
organisations to meet, talk
and learn from each other at
our regular events.
• Become more
resilient - and help
others: Our pilot
resilience courses are
available to those living
near 9 of our local Minds
and are tailor-made
for staff and volunteers
who are well and not
experiencing a mental
health problem.
