properly refuse the risk?

above, we ask this of everyone. So if you truly
feel you had enough resources (meaning
sufficient resources left in staging), then be
confident and say so. But if not, now is your
chance to say so. “Actually looking back, I
know realize I should have requested that 2 nd
alarm much sooner, knowing the reflex time
to get those apparatus on the road and
headed to the incident. Also, because part of
the 2 nd alarm units are mutual aid units from
other departments, it is critical to make that
notification early knowing the added time it
takes to have the dispatchers notify those
other agencies.
