EQUIPMENT ASSEMBLY TEST
Being able to assemble and disassemble equipment quickly and efficiently while wearing firefighting clothing can be the difference between saving or losing lives .
You will be required to demonstrate manual dexterity by assembling and disassembling firefighting equipment .
You will be fully briefed on what we expect you to do when you are at the Specialist Interview .
TEST 7 LADDER LIFT TEST
It will consist of an Olympic bar of 20kgs with an additional weight of 15 kgs with the bar placed into a sleeve on one of the fixed rigs . This again more accurately replicates lifting a ladder to a raised position from the ground before commencing the under run process .
