Nissan Battery Plant , Washington

Main contractor : Sir Robert McAlpine Description : On-going secondary steel work package on Nissan ’ s new £ 210m plant at Washington , near Sunderland , to produce advanced lithium-ion batteries for Nissan ’ s new LEAF cars .
