Special Single Estate Unblended Quality Season Teas
The 3 star Nuwara Eliya tea has one quality season in February/March
each year. At that time we obtain the tea direct from the factory.
For in season manufacture, staff are brought in at night when the factory
is cool and the heavy volatile oil can be captured which is the basis
of the character that can only be produced during the season.
The Dimbula District 2 star & the Uva District 2 star single estate
seasonal teas are also produced in their district season period at night.
