and so it is said…
The holidays sometimes have a way of turning our lives upside down. So
now that they are over and the chill of winter is upon us, I was thinking
about resolutions. I no longer make new year's resolutions because I
finally realized that most of my successful attempts at keeping any said
resolutions happened when I made them on a random Wednesday...
perhaps in June. I'm not really even sure. I just know that surprisingly,
some of my desired habit changes actually stuck... and they had nothing
to do with a champagne laced promise proclaimed at midnight.
Resolutions are simply a voicing of one's desire to make a change.
That's it. Real change comes with action. So what does that mean?
It may mean finding a local shop that provides just what you need to
feed your family with healthy food and support their health with natural
remedies. It could be that you go searching for a new workout to kick
up your metabolism as well as your dedication to fitness. Whatever
you need to support your efforts to change, you'll most likely find it
somewhere in Frederick County.
Remember, a resolution is a kind of promise and a promise is only a
promise if you actually DO what you said you'd do! With everything that
our diverse community has to offer, you'll find all the support you'll need.
