I got the Sweetheart Package, which includes one makeup look and two outfits. (Although, I did get a
special light-pinup session with it too, to get a full sampling of his photography.) By outfits, he means
“wardrobe changes” and he will tell you how to layer your clothes to maximize your time in his studio.
He has a lot of outfits to choose from: faux-fur vests to vintage lingerie and jewelry. He told me to go
through the rack and pick out whatever I liked and then put them on in the changing room.
My hair and makeup was done by Alice Ness, a stylist at Studio 509 Salon and Spa downtown.
She is also a long-time resident of Downtown Frederick and a graduate of The Temple, as well as
an internationally published editorial stylist and one of Capitol Bombshell’s main stylists. I was in
her chair for about an hour, but it really felt like two minutes. Alice is hilarious and the time flew
by! Afterwards, I definitely felt like a movie star (and promptly took a selfie in the changing room!)
