Tenth Ward produces three types of whiskey: two ryes (White Caraway Rye Spirit and 120-proof
White Rye) and one corn, all unaged. Applejack is its first and only barrel-aged product.
Monica considers the Caraway Rye to be Tenth Ward’s signature product. It’s meant to be
enjoyed neat, on the rocks or in a cocktail. Grab a bottle of the 120-proof white rye and age
it at home yourself with one of the pre-made aging kits, complete with your choice of wood
and detailed instructions. The corn whiskey has a smoky scotch-like quality. It’s created using
traditional methods with corn from an Angus beef farm and malt house in West Virginia.
In the late fall and winter, Cerise Liqueur, a bright cherry-flavored spirit, was available for sale.
And soon, look for Honeyjack to be released. Kyle has been barrel-aging mead from Orchid
Cellar Meadery in Middletown since early fall; it promises to be a unique addition to the
distillery’s shelves.
