Baicheng Central Hospital Project of Jilin Province
The Baicheng Central Hospital Project which utilized Israeli Government Loan to purchase medical
equipment was initiated in 2010, and implemented in 2013.
The total contract value is USD 9.9 million, containing 42 sets of medical equipment, mainly including 2 sets
of CT (Brilliance iCT and Brilliance CT BigBore), 1 MR (Achieva 1.5T), 1 DSA (Allura Xper FD20), 1 DR
(DigitalDiagnost 3), 1 Medical Linear Accelerator (SYNERGY), 2 sets of Ultrasound (IU22 and IE33), 30
sets of Hemodialysis Devices (4008B and 5008S), 1 Endovision Camera System, 1 surgical microscope and
2 sets of Automatic Biochemical Analyzer.
All the equipment listed under the contract was delivered to the hospital in 10 batches between 28 May,
2014 and 20 April, 2015. By now, all the equipment has been installed and put into operation, except the
Medical Linear Accelerator and Brilliance CT BigBore due to the site condition. The hospital has applied
new technologies such as CTA and 3D reconstruction. Upon the implementation of the project; the hospital
has adopted new technologies as MRA, MRV and MRCP for 19,000 person-time examinations by MR;
and has carried out new technologies of coronary angiography and coronary stent for 740 person-time
examinations by DSA. It has achieved economic and social benefits through the implementation of the
advanced equipment.
