Yingkou City Sixth People's Hospital Project

In order to solve problems such as of outdated medical equipment, increasing equipment failure rate and
such，Yingkou Sixth People's Hospital applied for the Israeli government loan in order to purchase new
medical equipment. The project was approved by MOF in July 2013 with a total estimated investment of
RMB 167.24 million, among which, USD 26 million (RMB 163.8 million in equivalent) is financed by the
Israeli government loan and the rest RMB 2.75 million is financed by the domestic counterpart funds.
The hospital plans to purchase 177 sets of medical equipment covering 96 items, including 256 Slices Spiral
CT,DSA, Ultrasound,Accelerators and etc.
The implementation of the project which is in line with the development policy of the National Health
Service and the requirements of the medical and health system reform, has effectively improved the health
condition and medical technology in the area of Yingkou City. Moreover,with the significant progress of
medical technology, Yingkou Sixth People's Hospital has improved the ability of diagnosis and treatment
for severe diseases, reduced the financial burden of patients, accelerated the development of the local social
services, upgraded the living conditions of the local people, and contributed to building a harmonious society.
