Eleven of fifteen U.S. independent fabricators reported domestic and Chinese quartz. Ten of fifteen U.S.
independent fabricators reported other quartz. Three of thirteen U.S. independent fabricators reported
other raw materials. Therefore the average unit costs and industry ratios reported in this table for
domestic, Chinese, and other quartz and other raw materials are understated compared to per-unit and
ratio data for only those firms reporting such data.
