This witty , sly and deeply moving portrayal performed by Leslie Goddard explores the hopes and fears of Lady Bird Johnson , Pat Nixon , and Betty Ford . Secrets are spilled about their husbands ' rise to power , their romances with the men and their paths as wives in the White House . Tea and refreshments will be served before the entertainment . Due to restrictions , only 25 participants will be allowed to participate in-person . A Zoom link will be sent out the week of the program for those that are not able to attend in person .

Trips look a little different this summer at the Regent Center . We will take smaller trips to outdoor venues to ensure physical distancing is possible . Our first adventure will be to the Morton Arboretum . As an outdoor museum of living trees and a research and conservation institution , the Arboretum provides a 1,700-acre tree-filled landscape for visitors to explore and connect with trees and nature . Due to COVID-19 restrictions , your time at the Arboretum will be on your own to explore . We will eat lunch upon arrival , and then participants will have time to walk the grounds . Lunch options will be advertised in the Regent Report .
