ABOUT THE ARTISTS
Stuart Chafetz
Stuart Chafetz is the Principal Pops Conductor of the Columbus Symphony and Principal Pops Conductor of the Chautauqua and Marin Symphonies. Chafetz, a conductor celebrated for his dynamic and engaging podium presence, is increasingly in demand with orchestras across the continent. This season Chafetz will be on the podium in Detroit, Naples, Buffalo, Kansas City, Vancouver, and Seattle. He enjoys a special relationship with The Phoenix Symphony where he leads multiple programs annually.
Chafetz’ s original programs are a signature of his artistic profile. His popular programs including“ Symphonic Genesis & Phil Collins” and“ Totally 80’ s” showcase the orchestra in an especially entertaining way and attract large audiences throughout North America. Chafetz previously held posts as resident conductor of the Milwaukee Symphony Orchestra and associate conductor of the Louisville Orchestra. As principal timpanist of the Honolulu Symphony for 20 years, Chafetz also conducted the annual Nutcracker performances with Ballet Hawaii and principals from the American Ballet Theatre.
Chafetz makes his home near San Francisco, CA, with his wife, Ann Krinitsky. Chafetz holds a bachelor’ s degree in music performance from the College- Conservatory of Music at the University of Cincinnati and a master’ s from the Eastman School of Music.

Baltimore Choral Arts Society, now in its 60th season, celebrates the joy of choral music through exceptional performances and diverse educational partnerships. Philharmonic, and other prominent area ensembles. In addition, Music Director Anthony Blake Clark has recently established large-scale collaborations with the Morgan State University Choir and Peabody Conservatory.
Choral Arts provides thoughtful and impactful music education initiatives that serve youth in and around Baltimore. These include CoroLAB, a partnership with high school choral music programs; Vocal Fellows, a leadership opportunity for professional singers; the Student Composer Project, a competition for high-school and college composers; and Sing and Play with Baltimore Choral Arts.
Recent awards and recognitions include the 2023 Capital Emmy for Diversity / Equity / Inclusion with Maryland Public Television for Artworks: Dreamer, a documentary featuring Choral Arts’ 2022 performance of Mozart’ s Requiem and Jasmine Barnes’ Portraits: Douglass and Tubman; the 2020 Chorus America / ASCAP Alice Parker Award; and the 2020 American Prize in Community Chorus Conducting( Anthony Blake Clark).
Aubrey Logan
A Billboard # 1 recording artist( Dave Koz & The Summer Horns’ From A to Z), Montreux Jazz Voice winner, and Berklee alumna, Aubrey Logan is a magnetic force at the crossroads of soul, jazz, and pop.
Raised outside Seattle by two music-educator parents, Aubrey grew up steeped in the craft of great songwriting( Billy Joel, Carole King) and the horndriven energy of Chicago, Earth, Wind & Fire, and Steely Dan. She picked up the trombone at 12 and never looked back, developing a signature blend of warm, expressive vocals, fearless scatting, and jaw-dropping brass interplay.
Career highlights speak for themselves: a # 1 Billboard Contemporary Jazz album with Dave Koz & The Summer Horns, acclaim from DownBeat as a top trombonist, world tours with Postmodern Jukebox and Dave Koz, and headlining appearances with major orchestras

including the Seattle Symphony, Boston Pops, and Cincinnati Symphony. Her own release Where the Sunshine Is Expensive cemented her status as a songwriter and arranger with a voice and vision built to last.
Never content to repeat herself, Aubrey is leveling up her sound with her first big-band project, Aubrey Logan & Her Bigger Than Average Band, reimagining originals and favorites for full horn sections and rhythm ensemble. Recent singles( including a swaggering“ Route 66”— Big Band Version) showcase her playful virtuosity and love of classic grooves with a modern pulse.
Now based in Austin, Texas, Aubrey tours internationally, captivating audiences with wit, heart, and highoctane musicianship.
