Although I had thought about colours, I had never really considered what colours people don’t like wearing. I think it is important to get an idea of peoples everyday colour palette as this will then allow me choose an outfit that will reflect them and then will be completely comfortable and confident in. This is a huge part of the survey all to ensure my customer is happy, I don’t want to ask anything that could be considered personal like weight, or anything that has a negative portrayal. For example, I saw a question that said “is there anything on your body you wish to conceal” this has multiple answers including, arms, shoulder, thighs etc. For me I would word it differently ask what length they would like things, short sleeve, capped, long – it gives a less negative connotation. You are a stranger to them so it needs to feel as comfortable and natural as possible you don’t want to reinforce a negative false image.
