The second step was the banana leaves. To do this I started by placing them on the top of the box to template the way they would look. When I was happy with the design a started to glue them down. Initially I wanted to spray over the leaves in white to add some dimension but when reviewing I decided I likes the simplicity and contrast between the green and white sides. Once this was done I started to paint the front and back panel silver, I did this as a way to make the box feel a little more luxurious, I want to ensure you can be sustainable but still chic. Lastly I added the ‘announcement’ lettering to the front of the box, just so that my customer is aware of who we are.
