The Carolina Renaissance Festival has an assortment of games and activities that push the guest pass their n o r m a l b o i l i n g p o i n t w i t h e x c i t e m e n t . Y o u c a n j u m p t o w a r ds t h e H e a v e n s at the Pirate’s Assault Catapult – a pirate themed trampol ine attraction. Y o u c a n a t t e m p t t o r e a c h g r e a t h e i g h t s o n t h e l a d de r c h a l l e n g e , J a c o b ’ s Ladder. You can also climb toward victory at Climb -a-Lot Tower. Not all of the fun is at close range. You can test your aim with some archery. You can show off your weaponry skills at the Axe and Star Throw. If you’re a bit of a jerk you can throw tomatoes at an unfortunate peasant at Vegetable Justice. You don’t even have to feel bad about hitting the victim because his surly commentary and obnoxious quips were proba bly why he got locked up in the first place. Of course, you cannot have your fill of the festival until you have witnessed… The Joust. Two knights have slipped into insanity and have c h a l l e n g e d e a c h o t h e r t o a d u e l t o t h e d e a t h . C h i l dr e n a n d t h o s e w e a k o f h e a r t a r e c a u t i o n e d t o b e w a r e .
