Final LDC WQ Report | Página 40

Table 6 shows the modelled fine sediment reductions for the Burdekin basin showing a total reduction of 29,300 tonnes between 2017 and 2020 . Importantly , this includes all investments reported in the Burdekin basin , including the LDC Project ( though Years 1 to 3 only ). The final column shows the change in effort in project completions in the LDC Project , with the greatest number of completions reported in Year 3 of LDC Project . The results show a 20.1 % cumulative reduction in the anthropogenic load in 2020 , an increase of 0.4 % since 2017 when the project commenced . The Reef 2050 Water Quality Improvement Plan sets a Burdekin Basin target that requires a 30 % reduction in fine anthropogenic sediment load delivered from the Burdekin Basin by 2025 , equivalent to 836,000 tonnes . The last reported progress towards the regional end of catchment target was 66.8 %.
