At Key Stage 4 you will study the UAL Level 2 Award and Diploma in Creative Media Production and Technology( Digital Arts)( equivalent to 4 GCSEs), developing skills in:
Games Concept Art 2D Animation & Motion Graphics Digital Illustration
Graphic Design Comic Book Art
Post 16( Year 12 & 13) Digital Arts, Games & Animation
At Post 16 you will study the UAL Level 3 Diploma and Extended Diploma in Creative Media Production and Technology( Digital Arts)( equivalent to 3 A Levels). You’ ll explore a wide range of technologies related to games, animation, VFX, motion graphics and interactive media.
You’ ll develop skills in: Concept art, illustration and worldbuilding Graphic design, branding and digital storytelling Motion graphics and 2D animation 3D modelling, sculpting and environments Game art and real-time visuals VFX including green screen and compositing
Industry Opportunities
You’ ll gain experience through work placements, live briefs and workshops with leading studios, agencies and freelance creatives. Students also enter competitions like BAFTA Young Game Designers and the Royal Academy of Arts Summer Show as well as exhibiting their work at our end of year showcase in the summer.
