Post 16 Curriculum

You will study a UAL Level 3 Extended Diploma in your specialist Strand which is the equivalent to 3 A Levels. UAL qualifications are developed in collaboration with education and industry partners to ensure that they are responsive and relevant to industry needs.
Study Programme 1
Students focus exclusively on their chosen strand, which is the recommended path for most. Strand subjects are UAL Level 3 Extended Diplomas, taught over two years, with a minimum of 15 hours timetabled per week.
Study Programme 2
Students who have not yet achieved a Grade 4 or above in their English and / or Mathematics GCSE will automatically be enrolled onto Study Programme 2.
Students placed on Study Programme 2 are not eligible to undertake Study Programme 3.
Study Programme 3- an additional A / AS level
Students have the opportunity to apply for a GCE Advanced Subsidiary( AS) Level or GCE Advanced( A) Level qualification alongside your Strand to broaden your qualifications and enhance your academic portfolio.
