EXTANT PREVIOUSLY IDENTIFIED HISTORIC RESOURCES SUBJECT TO REEVALUATION

The following properties , initially surveyed in 1987 , were documented and assessed for the current field study . Each property was assigned a HIGH , MEDIUM , or LOW rating based on architectural merit and known historic associations . Of these resources , 162 are recommended as HIGH priority properties and 127 are recommended to be MEDIUM priority properties . The remaining resources are classified in the LOW priority category . Based on a comparison of the 1987 and 2006-07 data , the majority of properties ’ rankings improved over time . For example , 60 properties moved up from a LOW to a MEDIUM rating and 20 moved from MEDIUM to HIGH . A smaller number of surveyed properties , 23 in total , moved from a LOW to a HIGH rating .
