DATA GAPS
As directed by the project ’ s Scope of Work , in Phase II of the study the HHM survey team relied on TAD data provided by City of Arlington staff to identify individual resources that were erected within the current city limits between 1935 and 1945 . Although the dates for the majority of the buildings included on the list appeared to be accurate , there were a small number that appeared to have been erected either earlier or later than the targeted period . However , in keeping with the work plan outlined in the project ’ s scope , the survey team documented all extant buildings on the list regardless of age . Additionally , in the course of conducting the fieldwork , there appeared to be resources that dated from the targeted time period that had not been included on the list . Also , in the course of identifying and documenting all subdivisions that had been platted between 1945 and 1960 during the Phase III fieldwork , the survey may have excluded concentrations of buildings from this period that were located in subdivisions that were platted prior to 1945 but were developed in the postwar period .
