In this film we discovered the life of Harry Potter, who is mistreated by his uncles, the family Dursley. They kept the secret that he is a wizard and that his parents lost their lives to save his. On his 11th birthday, letters from Hogwarts start to arrive, to the point that uncle Vernon takes the family outside so Harry will not find out about everything. However, Hagrid, the defender of the forests and lands of Hogwarts, looks for Harry and finds him. He explains that he is a magician and that he has to go to study at Hogwarts to be the best wizard ever seen. Harry buy his things for school at Diagon Alley with Hagrid.

Harry Potter and the Philosopher’s Stone belongs to the books saga of Harry Potter, written by J.K.Rowling. It was made into a film by Chris Columbus with the condition imposed by J.K.Rowling that all actors were English. The book was published in 1997 and the film in 2001. The music of film was created by John Williams and the photography John Seale. The film had three nominations to the Oscars, seven nominations to the BAFTA and Critics Choice Awards of the best film family and the best film.
