STUDENT STORY

Kathleen Farrell
Advanced Certificate : SWAP Access to Arts , Humanities and Primary Education
I started studying with Fife College on a community-based adult learning course ( Step In ) course at Valleyfield Community Centre , which I found out about through a cookery class that I took my granddaughter to .
I really enjoyed it , I managed to get National 5s in Numeracy and English , and I thought to myself - I can really do this !
I ’ m currently doing a SWAP course , which entails psychology , criminology , sociology , history , English , and Maths , which I never thought I would be able to manage in 100 years !
“ I would say , if you ’ re any way unsure , put your doubts away - just come !”
