Creating vlogs , podcasts and media content for streaming or a website , you will pick up a wide range of media production and content creation skills . This course will also significantly improve your digital literacy skills .
Whether you ’ re a beginner , novice or have some basic experience , you will learn how to create content to be proud of . You ’ ll do this by understanding how the different technologies work and how you can get the best out of the creative and technical processes you will use .

This exciting one-year course is a hands-on project-based course designed as an introduction to career paths in radio , television , film , digital media , digital journalism , or media and communications .
Based in classrooms and our professional radio and TV studios , you will be working on your own and in teams . With the support of staff , you ’ ll develop a broad range of creative and work-ready skills including : content production , creative analysis , creative process and production , problem solving , working with others and entrepreneurialism .

Two National 5s at Grade C or above , including English
Foundation Apprenticeship : Creative and Digital Media SCQF Level 6 and English at National 5
Another relevant course at SCQF Level 5

This course will provide a broad introduction to photography , enabling you to acquire the technical and creative skills needed to become a professional photographer . The course is ideal for anyone who would like to improve their basic photographic skills . It prepares you for progression to an HND through the development of both a print and electronic portfolio .
Entry Requirements
A strong portfolio of work containing a minimum of 20 images from a range of subjects plus one of the following :
Two National 5s at Grade C or above including English
A relevant creative course at SCQF Level 5
Mature students will be considered on an individual basis based on a portfolio of photography and or design work
