The HND in Fitness , Health and Exercise ( SCQF Level 8 ) builds on the HNC , and learners will advance their study of fitness , health and exercise activities and related areas . The HND covers a wide variety of subjects including personal instructing , strength management , and managing sports events .
Entry requirements
External Candidates :
Direct entry into year 2 ( HND ) requires the full , successful completion of the related HNC with 15 SQA credits .
For applicants who do not currently have the full 15 SQA credits , please contact us at info @ fife . ac . uk for further support on the options available to you to be accepted onto this HND course .

My lecturers showed me continuous support throughout the academic year and were always there to push me , helping me reach my full potential .
In August 2021 the thought of working within the industry was nothing but an idea , now sitting in June 2022 I am working as a fitness instructor for Gym64 Kirkcaldy - an opportunity that presented itself through the work experience module you complete . I look forward to the HND and continuing my studies within Fife college this upcoming year !
