This course will introduce you to different genres , trends including games programming required for the games industry . This course provides a foundation of techniques and skills which are important to the industry , such as building a portfolio , character creation , media assets , programming , development , 3D / 2D animation and testing .

This course is a launch pad for progression to HNC level courses in computer games digital design or computer games development and allows you to learn how a game is constructed from initial concept to final product .
You will learn more about 3D modelling and VR emerging technologies within the games industry .
This course also includes a flavour of eSports , where you will develop , contribute to and organise an eSports event . eSports is one of the most exciting and upcoming areas in the games and entertainment world at the moment .

Computer animation is experiencing an explosion in its use within areas such as the web and mobile apps , multimedia platforms , games , phones , SFX , TV and film .
This course will develop your 3D computer modelling and animation skills through the extensive use of industry-leading software including Autodesk 3D Studio Max & Maya , Adobe Premiere , Photoshop & After Effects , and Animate .
You will participate in a range of creative , client-based briefs , which are designed to develop your conceptual thinking and improve your skills within the digital domain .
