This course is aimed at those who have an interest in following a career in building services and focuses on introductory practical and theoretical units in the specific areas of plumbing and domestic electrical installation .
Entry Requirements
Evidence of good attendance and timekeeping from school , college or the workplace is necessary , as is one of the following :
Four National 4s including Maths and English
Successful completion of the School College Partnership course Skills for Work : Construction Craft ( Fife schools only ) plus two National 4s in English and Maths
Certificate : Construction Futures
Successful completion of an engineering course at SCQF Level 4
Built Environment Technician and Interior Design
National Certificate : Architecture with Interior Design
SCQF Level 6 Full-time

This is a practical design course which aims to introduce you to the essential key skills required to begin a career in the design industry . You will be encouraged to develop imaginative and creative ideas while working on a series of design projects . You will learn how to research and source relevant information for interior design materials , finishes , and products .
There will be a strong emphasis on developing a wide range of drawing and model making skills and techniques . During the course you will carry out a variety of design projects related to architecture , interior 3D spaces and scenarios .
Entry Requirements
Two National 5s at Grade C or above in subjects including Art and Design / Graphic Communications and English
A relevant Art and Design achievement at SCQF Level 4 or 5
Relevant industry experience and / or other qualifications will be considered on an individual basis dependant on portfolio
National Certificate : Built Environment
SCQF Level 6 Full-time

This course is intended for those who want to develop knowledge , understanding and skills relevant to careers within the built environment industry and who may be currently working in , or desire to work in , the industry . This is an ideal course if you want to progress on to technician roles such as quantity surveying , architectural technology , or construction management positions .
Entry Requirements One of the following :
Three National 4s and two National 5s at Grade C or above which must include Maths and English
A relevant course at SCQF Level 5 in either construction or engineering and SCQF Level 5 Maths : Craft 1 ( F3HV11 )
Relevant industrial experience or other qualifications will be considered on an individual basis
