This course has been designed to offer you a practical , hands-on experience which covers basic skills in all theatre production areas from stage management , props , and lighting and sound , to set and costume design and construction . You will have the opportunity to work as an assistant on public performances in our purpose-built studio theatre which develops a deeper understanding of production terminology and state of the art equipment .
Entry Requirements One of the following :
PLUS
Four National 5s at Grade C or above including English and Maths
Experience in a production role ( minimum of one year )
You may be required to take part in an informal conversation as part of the application process . This group / individual conversation may be an information session , a portfolio discussion , or a skills based exercise
HNC : Technical Theatre and Production Arts
SCQF Level 7 Full-time

This practical , hands-on course offers the opportunity to continue your studies in technical theatre in all production areas , and to work as a first deputy in stage management , lighting and sound , scenic art , and construction on public performances in the College ’ s purpose-built theatre as well as other Fife theatre venues .
Entry Requirements One of the following :
PLUS
Two Highers at Grade C or above , including English or Drama plus three National 5s at Grade C or above , preferably with English and Maths
National Certificate : Technical Theatre SCQF Level 6
Relevant industry experience and / or other qualifications will be considered on an individual basis
