My interest in Childhood Studies comes from my experience as a parent and through my volunteer work with local children ’ s groups . I came to the realisation that working with children as a career is something that I am passionately enthusiastic about . Watching my children grow and learn has sparked my interest in studying child development and how , as an Early Years Practitioner , I could support children ’ s learning .
I was attracted to the Advanced Certificate : Preparation for HNC Childhood Practice course as having been out of the workforce and formal education for so long , I thought this Skills Boost course would give me a good introduction to college life and childhood practice .
