However , you can choose the same path as an increasing number of students , and start your degree studies right here in Fife . You can study for an HNC ( the equivalent of a first year of a university degree ); an HND ( the equivalent of second year at university ); then choose to complete a full degree in as little as one further year , either via one of our partnership agreements with universities across the country , or directly through one of the nine degree courses fully available on a Fife College campus .
