Step 6 Perform the Last Walkthrough and Notify Supervisor

6.1 Notify your supervisor shortly before you leave an install . It alerts him or her that the install is about to be successfully completed and that you are going to be freed up . Give a heads up on any glaring issues that you are aware of .
If there is work to be done nearby and time still left in the day , you may have the opportunity for additional work .
6.2 Before leaving the home , perform one last walkthrough .
Open each door and drawer in both front and back halves to confirm no tools have been left behind and all the areas are clean .
Then take a good hard look at your work . Do not leave until you believe that your work is completed to the standards described in this manual and that your reputation among your managers and teammates will only be improved by the work you performed here .
Do not leave until you are confident the first impression our customer will have when viewing your installation will be of professionalism and pride in your work .
When you are confident this installation represents you best work and meets or exceeds the quality expectations of our company , leave the home and perpare for the next .
