SECTION 1- INSTALLATION
Wrapping Up
Illustrated Method Sheet 127
Wrapping up is the process of confirming the completeness of an installation, prepar-
ing the completed installation for presentation to the customer and communicating any
unresolved issues to the company. This process will include:
Organizing the Installation
Assessing the Completion
Wrapping up Tools
Cleaning Up
Once you have deter-
mined that the Installa-
tion is complete, it is time
to clean up and prepare
the work for presentatio
to the customer.
Loading Up and Hauling Trash
Performing the Last Walkthrough
This is most effectively
performed in an orderly
manner. For instance, if
you wrap up all of your
tools and haul them back
to your vehicle before
you clean and then
discover something you
missed, you may need to
bring tools back into the
home, wasting time and
effort.
However if you leave
your tools in place while
you clean, the job be-
comes more difficult.
Like anything else,
Wrapping Up at the end
of an install can be most
effectively handled by
following a process.
