Adjusting Door and Drawer Facia in a Cabinet Run Wall Cabinet Run 6 4 3 2 1 7 5 Section 3 Section 1 8 7 10 9 2 Base Cabinet Run Section 2 4 6 1 3 5 Example (Wall Cabinet Run): 1. Examining the above cabinet run example reveals that Section 3 of the Wall Cabinets needs no adjustment. Section 1 needs a lot of side-to-side adjustment, but height of the two doors are good since the hinge side of each of the doors are consistent with the height reveals to either side. The left door of Section 2 will require movement to the left and the right door to the right. 2. Begin making adjustments to the run with Section 1. 3. Height adjustments do not appear to be required. 125 Side to side adjustment of Section 1 doors (movements 1, 2 and 3) will align the doors at their strikes. How- 4. ever, from the earlier assessment, the adjustments made in Section 1 must finish with an even reveal to the doors in Section 3, and room for the left door in Section 2 to move to the left. 5. Make any in-and-out adjustments necessary so that the doors close flat. Proceed to adjust the doors in Section 2. ©2017 PCS Professional Cabinet Solutions. All Rights Reserved. Section 1: IMS 125 7
