Apply a liberal amount of glue to one of the joint surfaces and spread it to cover the entire mating
surface of the joint.
Slide the two counter parts together and begin placing the draw bolts from below. Begin with the front and
back bolts first, tightening them only until they are snug enough to stay in place without falling out. Do the
same for the center bolts.

Adjust the countertop
halves so they are flat from the
top surface and the index lines
align perfectly using a hammer
and block or a plastic faced mal-
let.
Once a section lines up flat with
no noticeable change in eleva-
tion across the joint, snug up the
draw bolt beneath that portion of
the top.
Repeat along the joint a few
inches at a time until the joint is
completely closed, flat and each
of the draw bolts are tightened.
Set aside to let the glue harden.
