Structural Panel Installation Methods

Plumb
Level and Square
All Structural
Panels must be in-
stalled plumb, level
and square to other
cabinets.
It is essential that Structural Panels help transfer
weight of the counter tops and other cabinets securely to
the fl oor.
Once the panel is aligned, shim as necessary ensuring
the panel is in contact with the fl oor.
Structural Panels
must be installed in
accurate alignment
with the cabinets
around them.

Use spreaders when possible to help hold a
space dimension while the parts are being secured.
2.4
Utilize fasteners and cleating that will not show on
a fi nished side. Do not nail or drive screws through any
visible portion of a fi nished side.
