Setting Up Tools and the Work Area
4.1 Take the time to plan and set up in an organized manner once and enjoy a productive days effort with
minimum interference from clutter.
Choose the best location and orientation for tools, a saw table area, an area for staging cabinets and materi-
als and a path for hoses and cords so that your Working and Installation areas are not hindered.
4.2
Mount the
miter saw
at bench
height-
not on the
fl oor.
4.3 Set up the
table saw to be at hip
level.
Provide an out-feed
table or some way to
support material after
it is ripped.
Make sure the guard
is mounted and dust
control measures are
in place.
