The reality of mental institutions

October 30, 2013, was by far one of the scariest days of my
life. I sat in an uncomfortable lobby room chair for about
eight hours before being evaluated. Once I was finally taken
back to talk to a nurse, I was asked what seemed to be hundreds of questions. ‘Do you want to hurt yourself?’ ‘Have you
ever attempted suicide?’ Were just a few of the many.
After they determined I should be admitted into the hospital based on my answers for the previous questions, I had
