Who’s fraser’s hero? By Sarah Zalewski ‘06 Flash Staff Reporter “A hero is a person who is afraid but performs in the face of their fears. Weither they are real or fake, who faces their fear the best and is the true hero of Fraser?” Batman is the Winner “ Supergirl is my favorite superhero because she is feminine, but she can and will kick butt is she sees an injustice,” said Josie Purch (senior.) “ She has all the same powers as Superman, but adds girl power to it. But not even that can make her the best, she’s not Fraser’s hero.” “ He is bulletproof, faster then a speeding bullet, has heat and x-ray vision and can fly. But apparently there’s a more powerful word then super.... because he’s not Fraser’s hero.” “ He has spidy-sense, is completely agile, and can swing from anything. But his swinging is coming up short in the end because he’s not Fraser’s hero.” Rebekah Tacoma-Superman Ashley Hill-Spiderman Amanda Troia-Batman Aubrey Tacoma-Supergirl *Teachers featured Mrs. Ibrahim and Ms. Wright. “ Batman. No powers. Still saves the world,” said Mr. DeNault. “ He may not have x-ray vision or spidy sense, but he does have something that no one else has, a cool car and a sidekick.” “ My superhero would be: MARIO BORROCCI,” said Sheryl Terman. “ BATMAN. Real toys, shroud of mystery, independently wealthy, great sidekicks etc,” said Dr. Richards. “ He fights the joker and the penguin with Robin his sidekick, his gadgets and his courage. Two heads are always better then one. He is Fraser’s Hero.” “MARIO BORROCCI, a true Fraser Hero!!!”said Heather Carrigan. TEACHERS HAVE THEIR HEROES TOO. “Superman-because Christopher Reeves played t he part on the big screen in the late ‘70’s and then later in real life he became a REAL superhero. He lived his life with grace and dignity and became so much more than he would have just being another “pretty face” from Hollywood,” said Mrs. Ibrahim. “ I think my heroine is Oprah! She has done so much to improve the lives of others. I recently saw her show where she gave homes away to many vicitms of Katrina, working along with Habitat for Humanity. She is also helping build many more homes. I feel that she does much more then just talk about making lives better-she puts her words into actions!” said Mrs. Hepper. “ I don’t think Aquaman ever got a fair shake. The world is 75% water yet most of the land dwellers are much more popular,” said Mr. Socha. “ I love spiderman because my neice loves him and she is very cute. Spiderman gets to swing from building to building,” said Ms. Wright
