The powered operation removes the need for manual pushing and manipulation , helping to lessen the risk of strain injuries suffered by housekeeping staff while doing their jobs . The cart is also particularly effective across carpet , where a conventional cart can be difficult to push . Getting the cart up a slope also does not take as much effort compared to a conventional cart .
Functionality , ergonomics and protection from environment damage have all been taken into consideration in its design . It offers large storage capacity with adjustable middle shelves . The cart is easy to manoeuvre with ergonomic , comfort-grip handles , while bumpers on all four corners of the cart protect walls and equipment from damage .
