Comprital offers Speedy gelato mixes
A REFRESHING treat awaits
visitors at booth 2C2-07, where
the Comprital Group is offer-
ing gelato in multiple salivating
flavours.
Since 1985, the Comprital
Group has been offering Speedy,
a line-up of gelato powder mixes
packed in practical single-dose
bags, ready to be made quickly
into top-quality artisanal gelato.
The preparation process could
also not be easier, as the Compri-
tal Group describes: Dilute the
bag’s content with water or milk,
and the gelato is instantly ready.
Created for the professional
market, Speedy provides the
flexibility to produce soft-serve
ice-cream, cold creams, gelato
cakes and smoothies.
The Speedy mixes are made
through a selection of ingredi-
ents, such as pistachio, hazel nut,
almond paste, true chocolate and
dry fruit, and includes more than
60 flavours.
To better serve the Asian mar-
ket, Speedy mixes are Halal-
certified and will also appeal to
the health-conscious. This, the
Comprital Group explains, is
because they offer 20% less fat,
20% less sugar, are rich in fibres,
uses sugar and coconut sugar, is
gluten-free, and does not include
hydrogenated fats, palm oil, arti-
ficial colours or flavours.
For vegans, worry not. The
company is also offering a full
range of vegan gelato selections,
which abstains from animal ingre-
dients while still adhering to the
handmade tradition of Speedy’s
gelato.
Wait no more — hurry to the
Comprital Group booth before
the gelato runs out!

When East meets West ...
AN-PAN, a round bun filled with sweet
red bean paste, is a popular staple snack in
Japan and it has spread all over Asia. Seen
at Hall 1 at Singapore Expo is the coming
together of a Japanese oven manufacturer
and a Dutch company marketing its DR
Robot that divides and shapes a big lump
of dough into little rounders.
Hiroaki Tokura, managing director of
Tokura Shoji Co. Ltd, the company that
understands the real needs and wants of
bakers, says: “Our ovens are developed
after thorough research into what bakeries
need. They want easy loading and unload-
ing, and easy-to-clean ovens.”

Tokura ovens can bake hard and soft
breads, and they are popular in Japan. And
as Asians are also into eating an-pans and
other buns, the company got together with
Daub Bakery Machinery BV of The Neth-
erlands to display its DR Robot Automatic
alongside the oven from Japan.
Daub’s sales manager, Jolande Kaijen,
adds: ‘We are happy to be here sharing the
booth and showcasing out robot next to the
versatile Tokura oven. It’s good to show the
two machines together.”
For more details on how the two prod-
ucts complement one another, head for
