The beats of music pump out from Club Alive and the party is hot. Inside you have hot-ass
men at the bar mixing up the drinks and the trendiest gay men and women in El Paso. The DJ
is playing the hottest and newest music in Pride Square and you can dance your ass off.
Reminiscent of the good old days at the OP, you leave dripping with sweat and maybe a super
cute guy or a girl. Club Alive has become a staple of the gay community and isn’t letting up.
“We want to mix things up,” said Danny Villalobos, manager. Gay Pride is going to be insane
this year and the club is ready for all the action.
“We know people have a budget and we definitely want to bring it back to Pride Square. All of
our events are FREE for 21 and up,” he said. Danny is no stranger to pride; he’s been doing it
for years now and still looks steamy.
On Wednesday June 4 Alive will be taking over Leo’s Restaurant and Bar downtown and that
will be a small cover. On Thursday June 5 there will be a neon party with paint and models
and $2 you call it. Friday will feature an animal party with masks given out.
“We look forward to celebrating pride at the gay bars,” he said. Saturday after the parade
there will be a FREE cook-out from Noon-4 p.m. Also, drink specials for the noon time
“sizzler.” On Saturday night there will be a foam party with no-cover at the bar and a small
one outside. “We want everyone to come and party and be safe of course,” he said. On Sunday there will be “trick city” with drink specials and a fashion expo.
“All month long we will be having drink specials for pride and look forward to seeing all our gay
friends and family,” he said. Club Alive is keeping it real and keeping it at pride square. Join
