A Day on the Terrace
“133 Years of Change”
Monday, August 7, 2023
The Peninsula Chicago
After years of great success, The Service Club’s renowned A Day on the Terrace returned to the runway on Monday, August 7th at The Peninsula Chicago.
Veteran co-chairs Jean Antoniou, Tracey DiBuono and Sharyl Mackey worked hard to plan a fun, fashionable, afternoon of fundraising. The day began by welcoming the crowd of 325+ fashionistas that supported The Service Club’s continued mission of helping others.
The “spotlight” of the day was the fashion show, featuring a first look at fall fashion from the best stores in Chicagoland. Participating stores & designers included: alice + olivia, Anne Fontaine, Contessa Bottega, Elda de la Rosa Couture, Lauren Lein, MaxMara, Mira Couture, Neiman Marcus Michigan Avenue, Peter Millar, St. John, SuitSupply, SYLWIA, Ted Baker, York Furriers and Zegna.
The Service Club of Chicago is an all women's organization founded in 1890 with a mission to assist, improve and expand upon agency programs in the Chicagoland area. Its grant recipients operate in social service, cultural, educational and civic fields and they serve individuals all over greater Chicagoland.
