qualities about you. Don’t you want to be around someone that oozes confidence, feels, and looks great? We all strive to be that person and want to be around people like that.
Maslow’s hierarchy of needs teaches us that self-esteem is the second highest level of need, after self-actualization. We must have our needs of psychological stability, safety, love and, belonging met before we can develop healthy self-esteem. There are two kinds of self-esteem: higher and lower. Higher comes from within and lower comes from getting respect from others.
