Dress up. Dress down. Either one I’m okay with. I’ve always enjoyed fashion and always kept my eye on what best represents me as an individual. I’m glad that fashion has evolved to become more creative, free, edgy, and colorful. I always tried to think outside the box when it comes to putting an outfit together. I’m a jacket/blazer type of guy and I think adding colorful accessories such as pocket square or tie to a neutral blazer can really make it pop. I also think that a nice pair of shoes can enhance the look of a casual pair of jeans or pants and now, a nice t-shirt can be either dressed up or dressed down too.

I think fall is the best time of year when we can utilize our wardrobe from all four seasons, especially in Chicago. Some days, in early September, we still have spring and summer like temps. In the evenings the weather and can turn a little cooler and that’s when we can break out a light sweater or jacket. October is when we start to feel cooler temps and at least a few days during that month we can expect to don a heavier coat, blazer, and scarf. But you can still look good while remaining relatively comfortable.

I’m excited about this month’s Fall Fashion issue! We highlight 3 beautiful women in media that are royalty in their own right, so I hope you get a chance to get to know our Media Queens. We recognize their fashion but most importantly we respect their stories. They are a trio of inspiring ladies and we’re honored to feature them. Enjoy FLM September and stay fashionable and stylish my friends.
