For starters, I had the summer tomato soup made without cream, yet as creamy as my own homemade soup; only this gem was topped with basil olive oil and an adorable orange dollop of champagne foam that added just the right zip to the dish. A fresh vegetable salad was next that included Emmental Cheese; a cheese I’ve never had. I will now never forget the cheese’s light creaminess texture and how it balanced the entire salad. The main dish was Goulash, a dish my mother used to make, but this was an unexpected delight and so much better and different than Mom's version. (Sorry, Mom!) Of course, dessert, a Moravian Kolachky was extraordinary, and again, unexpectedly light. It was a cross between a donut and a biscuit with the layers airy and the flavor enveloping your tastebuds, melting as you closed your eyes to savor the textures and the flavors.
