Chicago Gourmet 2025 was one delicious thrill ride from start to finish, serving up flavor, flair, and a whole lot of foodie fun across the city’s most iconic venues.

It all kicked off with Tacos & Tequila, a rooftop rager hosted by culinary legends Rick Bayless and Marcos Carbajal on the Harris Theater Rooftop. The night was a fiesta of kick-ass tacos, premium agave spirits, craft cocktails, and live traditional music and dance that had guests salsa-ing their way between taco stations.

Next came the crowd-pleaser, Hamburger Hop, hosted by chefs Joe Flamm and Sarah Grueneberg, where Northside and Southside chefs faced off in the ultimate burger showdown. Juicy, inventive, and downright irresistible, every bite was a home run. The after-party didn’t miss a beat with the Asian Late Night Market at TAO Chicago, hosted by Chef Thai Dang, where vibrant street food vibes, neon lights, and global bites took center stage.

The Grand Cru brought pure sophistication to the Harris Theater Rooftop, hosted by powerhouse chefs Stephanie Izard and Karen Akunowicz, pairing lights-out cuisine with the finest wines and spirits for an unforgettable sensory experience. And just when we thought we couldn’t possibly eat another bite, Rise & Shine Gourmet made brunch the grand finale, hosted by Art Smith, Lorena Garcia, and Jernard Wells, blending soulful comfort with sunrise elegance.

From tacos to truffles, burgers to bubbly, 2025 Chicago Gourmet truly had something for everyone to cheer for — and cheers to.
