Hulu promises to make us laugh out loud with “Quiz Lady” November 3, starring Awkwafina as Anne and Will Ferrell a game show host. I’d tune in just to see Ferrell in this role, but there’s more to it than that. Anne has “lost” her mother: she actually ran away from a lot of financial problems which are now Anne’s. Along with her sister Jenny (Sandra Oh), they must find a way to pay back these thugs, rescue Anne’s dog, and get her mother to come out from hiding. Jason Schwartzman and Tony Hale all make an appearance in Quiz Lady, streaming on Hulu November 3.
